{"id":13691,"date":"2026-08-05T08:45:32","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T07:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=13691"},"modified":"2026-08-05T08:45:35","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T07:45:35","slug":"andrei-popa-to-lead-super-technologies-development-in-romania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2026\/08\/05\/andrei-popa-to-lead-super-technologies-development-in-romania\/","title":{"rendered":"Andrei Popa to Lead Super Technologies\u2019 Development in Romania"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Romanian gambling multinational <strong>Super Technologies,<\/strong> the operator of <strong>Superbet,<\/strong> has promoted<strong> Andrei Popa<\/strong> to General Manager for Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Adam Lamentowicz,<\/strong> Super\u2019s Chief Commercial Officer for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), will delegate Romania\u2019s expansion strategy to Popa to put increased focus on the firm\u2019s business growth across Poland, Serbia, and Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lamentowicz previously commented on the importance of the CEE region as a gaming hub, describing it as a region that \u201calready had a passion and legacy of talent in various sports\u201d, laying the foundations for stable and lucrative betting markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an internal appointee, Popa has worked closely with Lamentowicz over the last three years as VP of Online and VP of Commercial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His responsibilities included overseeing the company\u2019s transformation from the single-branded Superbet to a multi-brand network comprising <strong>Napoleon Games, Superscore and Maxbet<\/strong>, as well as the recent rebranding to Super Technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his new role, Popa will be responsible for sustaining the company\u2019s long-term successful performance in Romania \u2013 one of Super\u2019s core and most complex markets, given that it also operates a vast network of local retail shops alongside its online offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On his promotion, Andrei Popa, General Manager of Super Romania, said: \u201cI\u2019m deeply grateful to Super and to every person who has contributed to what we have accomplished in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c10 years ago, I joined a company that was building something genuinely ambitious in a market that many underestimated.
