{"id":13713,"date":"2026-08-06T12:22:59","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T11:22:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=13713"},"modified":"2026-08-06T12:23:02","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T11:23:02","slug":"betway-and-manchester-united-enter-into-a-partnership-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2026\/08\/06\/betway-and-manchester-united-enter-into-a-partnership-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"Betway And Manchester United Enter Into A Partnership Agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Super Group\u2019s Betway<\/strong> has confirmed its much-anticipated partnership with <strong>Manchester United<\/strong>, becoming the club\u2019s principal partner and exclusive global betting partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deal will begin at the beginning of the new Premier League season this month, seeing Man Utd\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams training kits adorn the Betway logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Betway has described it as its \u201cbiggest deal to date\u201d, adding Man Utd to a sports sponsorship portfolio that includes deals across football, Formula 1, rugby union, cricket, basketball and tennis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In May, it was rumoured that the deal had been agreed, with Betway reported to be paying Man Utd a fee of around \u00a320m ($27m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But it took more than two months for the Guernsey-headquartered business to nail down an agreement with the 13-time Premier League champions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are thrilled that our Betway brand will be the Official Principal Partner and Exclusive Global Betting Partner of one of the world\u2019s biggest football clubs,\u201d said <strong>Neal Menashe<\/strong>, Chief Executive Officer of Super Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cManchester United\u2019s global reach, particularly with their massive fanbase across Africa, aligns perfectly with our key markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Premier League is the world\u2019s most-watched domestic football competition and provides a powerful platform to connect with fans globally. We\u2019re excited to see the Betway brand showcased at Old Trafford, and beyond, as part of our ongoing presence in English football\u2019s top-flight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Man Utd follow Premier League rivals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Man Utd join <strong>Tottenham, Aston Villa <\/strong>and<strong> Everton <\/strong>as clubs finding alternative partnerships with gambling operators amid the incoming front-of-shirt ban.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tottenham signed a training kit deal with <strong>Betano<\/strong>, and Aston Villa also tapped the <strong>Kaizen Gaming<\/strong>-owned bookmaker for a shirt sleeve deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stake<\/strong> signed a sleeve sponsorship with Everton, much to the chagrin of many supporters of the UK\u2019s licensed industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Betway\u2019s brand is set to \u201cfeature prominently on matchdays\u201d at Man Utd\u2019s Old Trafford and the Progress with Unity Stadium.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supporters are also set to benefit from exclusive competitions and experiences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Responsible gambling is also a key focus of the deal, with the operators offering comprehensive safer gambling resources to players, staff and fans at Man Utd.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Marc Armstrong<\/strong>, Chief Business Officer at Man Utd, added: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Betway as our official principal partner.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe scale of our exciting new partnership reflects our growth strategy, the enduring global strength and appeal of Manchester United, and our ability to attract leading brands that want to engage with our vast worldwide fanbase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBetway is a world-renowned brand with significant presence across world sport.
