{"id":14036,"date":"2026-09-17T08:46:58","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T07:46:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=14036"},"modified":"2026-09-17T08:47:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T07:47:00","slug":"luckia-and-laliga-extend-partnership-until-2029","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2026\/09\/17\/luckia-and-laliga-extend-partnership-until-2029\/","title":{"rendered":"Luckia and LaLiga Extend Partnership Until 2029"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Luckia<\/strong> has extended its status as a principal partner of <strong>LaLiga,<\/strong> continuing a relationship established in 2024 to promote its brand and safer gambling across Spain\u2019s top-tier professional football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partnership extension through to 2029 was announced on Friday at a press conference in A Coru\u00f1a, the home city of <strong>Grupo EGASA,<\/strong> the leisure and hospitality group that owns Luckia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was attended by LaLiga President <strong>Javier Tebas, <\/strong>Luckia President J<strong>os\u00e9 Gonz\u00e1lez <\/strong>and the operator\u2019s Vice President, <strong>Alfredo Gonz\u00e1lez.<\/strong> Former Spain international and 2010 World Cup winner <strong>Joan Capdevila <\/strong>also participated as the face of Luckia\u2019s first campaign teaser for 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For EGASA, the LaLiga partnership has helped strengthen Luckia\u2019s profile in its home market since the agreement was signed in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The renewal carries further strategic importance as EGASA\u2019s leadership confirmed during the first half of 2026 that it is evaluating expansion opportunities across Latin America. LaLiga\u2019s significant following in Spanish-speaking markets provides Luckia with a recognised platform through which it can support its international ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jos\u00e9 Gonz\u00e1lez described the extension as an important step for the operator, underscoring the commercial value the partnership delivered during its first two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSince the first agreement, we have seen the enormous potential of this collaboration to connect our brand with millions of fans while developing content and experiences that go far beyond the 90 minutes,\u201d Gonz\u00e1lez said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe share values with LaLiga such as effort, teamwork, perseverance and passion, and we are convinced that this new phase will allow us to continue innovating and creating distinctive propositions for fans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the renewed agreement, Luckia will gain access to an expanded roster of marketing inventory spanning original digital content, social-media formats, matchday campaigns, fan experiences and brand activations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New social media coverage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partners will continue to develop established content properties including <strong>La previa de Luckia<\/strong> and <strong>El golazo de Luckia<\/strong>, alongside campaigns such as<strong> Brotan tr\u00e9boles de Luckia en LaLiga <\/strong>and<strong> Donde hay f\u00fatbol, hay Luckia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luckia will also build the audience of <strong>Luckia Tr\u00e9boles FC<\/strong>, its dedicated Instagram and TikTok channel offering football stories, entertainment and trivia for younger adult audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A further focus of the renewed partnership will see Luckia\u2019s football ambassadors participate in campaigns promoting LaLiga\u2019s safer and responsible gambling initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operator has assembled an extensive ambassador roster since 2024, featuring <strong>Guti, Gaizka Mendieta, Fernando Morientes, Miguel \u00c1ngel Moy\u00e1, Diego God\u00edn, Julio Baptista and Javier Mascherano. <\/strong>Capdevila becomes the latest former player to join Luckia\u2019s marketing activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on the renewal, Tebas said that modern sports sponsorships must establish meaningful connections with supporters rather than rely solely on brand visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSports sponsorship has changed, and today it is no longer enough to associate a logo with a competition,\u201d he said. \u201cYou have to connect with fans, create genuine experiences and build a credible relationship with audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat requires time, and the renewal until 2029 is a clear statement of intent from both parties.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LaLiga stated that the extended partnership would allow the two organisations to continue taking football \u201cbeyond the 90 minutes\u201d, while reaching new audiences through differentiated content, experiences and activations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t forget to subscribe to our <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/sbceurasia\">Telegram channel<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Luckia has extended its status as a principal partner of LaLiga, continuing a relationship established in 2024 to promote its brand and safer gambling across Spain\u2019s top-tier professional football.
