The site currently displays data from 11 apps, including <strong>Kalshi<\/strong>, <strong>Polymarket<\/strong>, <strong>Novig<\/strong>, <strong>Underdog<\/strong>, <strong>FanDuelPredicts<\/strong> and <strong>Fanatics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meteoric rise of prediction markets in the US \u2014 a rise which has driven target valuations of $40bn for Kalshi and $22bn for Polymarket \u2014 has caught Genius Sports\u2019 attention, and that of its competitors like <strong>Sportradar<\/strong> for that matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Genius\u2019 leadership sees huge growth potential and opportunity for its sports technology and data collection services in the prediction markets space.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The similarities between betting and prediction markets are a key reason for this (many regulators and companies in the regulated betting space would argue there is little to no difference).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mark<\/strong> <strong>Locke<\/strong>, Genius\u2019 Chief Executive Officer, wrote this week that he sees prediction markets as a \u201cnet benefit\u201d for the company, though also noting that the sector is waiting some regulatory decision making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI believe they create more businesses to supply, more ways to monetise the same sports activity and more competition for the customers we help operators win,\u201d Locke wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMost of the demand they have surfaced appears new.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Platform launch an example of Genius and Legend synergies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Prediction.com<\/strong> platform will showcase live game data with real-time prediction market pricing for sports, displaying probabilities, prices and market signals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Genius intends for it to become a \u201csingle destination\u201d for consumers to discover markets to trade (or some would say bet) on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch marks not only a leap for Genius as it continues to take steps on its predictions market vision, but also a significant one for\u00a0Legend.
