{"id":14077,"date":"2026-09-22T12:08:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T11:08:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=14077"},"modified":"2026-09-22T12:08:58","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T11:08:58","slug":"comeon-reshuffles-its-leadership-team-ahead-of-entering-the-finnish-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2026\/09\/22\/comeon-reshuffles-its-leadership-team-ahead-of-entering-the-finnish-market\/","title":{"rendered":"ComeOn Reshuffles Its Leadership Team Ahead of Entering the Finnish Market"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ComeOn Group<\/strong> has appointed three key figures to its leadership team as part of its next growth phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Malta-headquartered operator has onboarded <strong>Alex Woodhams<\/strong> as Chief Product Officer, <strong>Sara Nunes <\/strong>as General Manager for Finland and <strong>Kristoffer Ottosson<\/strong> as Director of IT Operations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also has a new Chief Operating Officer, as <strong>Sherwin Jarvand<\/strong> has been promoted from his previous position of Chief Growth Officer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Woodhams joined the company\u2019s London office on Monday, bringing industry experience from his five-year-long role as CPO at <strong>Racing Post <\/strong>owner <strong>Spotlight Sports Group<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has also worked with major global brands across a variety of sectors, including <strong>Tesco, Dell, O2 <\/strong>and<strong> Just Eat.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ComeOn over to Finland<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nunes, meanwhile, arrives at ComeOn carrying a wealth of industry experience from businesses such as <strong>High Roller Technologies, Rootz, Kindred Group <\/strong>and<strong> Betsson Group.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It looks as though ComeOn is setting its sights on Finland, with the market set to open to betting companies as it moves away from its monopoly model held by <strong>Veikkaus<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ComeOn is expected to be one of over 50 firms who will enter the market in July 2027, and it already has Scandinavian experience via its <strong>Snabbare<\/strong> brand in Sweden and <strong>Casinostuen<\/strong> in Denmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nunes\u2019 appointment is the company\u2019s first real sign of interest in joining a wide range of rival operators in the Finnish market next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ottosson, the firm\u2019s new Director of IT Operations, joins from iGaming IT provider <strong>Internet Vikings<\/strong>, where he spent four years as COO.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His extensive experience of building and scaling technology operations will help him to lead the group\u2019s IT operations function.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the executive-level reshuffling,\u00a0<strong>Juergen Reutter<\/strong>, Chief Executive Officer at ComeOn Group, said: \u201cWe are building ComeOn for its next stage of growth, and having the right leadership and capabilities across the organisation is a fundamental part of that.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAlex, Sara and Kristoffer bring deep expertise across three areas that are increasingly important to our strategy \u2014 product, local market leadership and technology.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt the same time, Sherwin\u2019s promotion to Chief Operating Officer recognises the significant contribution he has already made to ComeOn and gives him a broader mandate across our customer-facing operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTogether, these appointments strengthen an already experienced leadership team and put us in an even stronger position to execute our ambitions in our regulated markets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t forget to subscribe to our <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/sbceurasia\">Telegram channel!<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ComeOn Group has appointed three key figures to its leadership team as part of its next growth phase.
