{"id":14387,"date":"2026-10-29T10:27:58","date_gmt":"2026-10-29T10:27:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=14387"},"modified":"2026-10-29T10:28:06","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T10:28:06","slug":"1xcare-partners-with-spains-fejar-to-reduce-gambling-related-harm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2026\/10\/29\/1xcare-partners-with-spains-fejar-to-reduce-gambling-related-harm\/","title":{"rendered":"1xCare Partners with Spain\u2019s FEJAR to Reduce Gambling-Related Harm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Responsible gambling organisation <strong>1xCare<\/strong> has extended its international reach again, signing a deal with <strong>Spain\u2019s Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Jugadores de Azar Rehabilitados (FEJAR).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The duo has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to prevent and reduce gambling-related harm, improve access to support, and advance responsible gambling education and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gerardo Rodriguez Velo,<\/strong> FEJAR President, said: \u201cAt FEJAR, we believe that preventing gambling-related harm requires a strong commitment to prevention, accessible support, and the well-being of affected individuals and their families.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis partnership offers an opportunity to explore ways to strengthen access to support services, while safeguarding FEJAR\u2019s professional independence and ensuring that the needs of beneficiaries remain at the centre of our work\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both organisations have also been keen to stress the importance of independence and safeguarding, however.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With responsible gambling and gambling-related harm both being sensitive topics, the independence of charities and research organizations from the industry is often a key talking point in regulatory and political debates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1xCare asserts that FEJAR will retain full responsibility for its professional methods, therapeutic processes and decision-making. It adds that its support throughout the partnership is not conditional on endorsing any commercial product or operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organisation was established earlier this year as a responsible gambling initiative dedicated to research, education, technology, and player well-being.It operates as a non-profit organisation <strong>RG Practices<\/strong>, established by the owner of the global brand <strong>1xBet.
