The event, organised in cooperation with <strong>SMH<\/strong>, Georgian iGaming and sports management organisation, aims to explore the opportunities that these regions offer. <strong>SBC Summit Tbilisi<\/strong> is scheduled for <strong>October 23-24, 2023<\/strong> at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving on from the Black Sea region to North America \u2014 in the wake of the <strong>Canadian Gaming Summit<\/strong>, Ted Doering and Scott Morash <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/06\/12\/advertising-with-impact-ipsos-recommends-focusing-on-quality\/\">sat down for an interview<\/a> with <strong>SBC Americas<\/strong> to discuss a recent research done by <strong>IPSOS <\/strong>that highlighted Ontario\u2019s crowded betting and casino market as such that must be treated with great attention towards building a strong advertising strategy to achieve effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ukrainians<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/06\/08\/ukrainians-lend-their-support-to-parimatch-as-25000-strong-petition-delivered-to-president-zelenskyy\/\">lent their support<\/a> to <strong>Parimatch<\/strong> as a 25,000-strong petition was delivered to President Zelenskyy. It is asking the President to order a thorough investigation into the arbitrary sanctions imposed on the company. The petition garnered the required 25,000 signatures 14 days ahead of the deadline, as the Ukrainian public rallied behind the Company in its fight to uphold the rule of law in Ukraine and unblock its popular services in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Betting and Gaming Council <\/strong>(BGC) <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/06\/08\/bgc-calls-on-social-media-to-work-together-to-reduce-the-amount-of-gambling-advertising\/\">called on social media<\/a> to take new measures and strengthen collaboration to reduce the visibility of gambling advertising to young people and at-risk groups on social media platforms. In a letter to the UK Minister of Culture, <strong>Lucy Fraser<\/strong>, BGC\u2019s CEO <strong>Michael Dugher<\/strong> demanded to increase the pressure on social media platforms to further engage with the industry and help limit the negative impact of gambling on young people and people at risk of suffering from the gambling addiction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UFC Events<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/06\/06\/ufc-events-open-up-great-opportunities-for-sports-betting-operators\/\">open up great opportunities<\/a> for sports betting operators. <strong>Chris Bellitti<\/strong>, UFC Vice President of Corporate Communications, revealed some information&nbsp; about the growth and popularity of UFC and MMA betting. Bellitti said: \u00abUFC events in general \u2013 and particularly main card events \u2013 take place later in the evening, which is an opportune time for betting operators, when other core sports have typically ended. It is the seventh time that Real Madrid comes up on top of the annual <strong>Forbes<\/strong> list, with the club\u2019s valuation of US$5.1 billion last year. However, their valuation is still significantly lower than that of the National Football League (NFL) <strong>Dallas Cowboys<\/strong>, which Forbes recently valued at US$8 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LaLiga<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/06\/05\/laliga-launches-licensing-model-for-global-distribution-of-laliga-xtra-mobile-app\/\">entered into a deal<\/a> with <strong>Digital Virgo Group<\/strong> to make their <strong>LaLiga Xtra<\/strong> mobile app available through licensees in 18 countries. With the new five-year licence, EveryMatrix will be able to provide its modular, API-based, world-class iGaming solutions, content and services within a growing jurisdiction that has begun regulating online gaming and betting since January 2019.
