{"id":2111,"date":"2023-06-23T09:32:07","date_gmt":"2023-06-23T08:32:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=2111"},"modified":"2023-06-23T09:32:08","modified_gmt":"2023-06-23T08:32:08","slug":"ensuring-a-safe-gaming-environment-igsa-launches-responsible-gaming-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/06\/23\/ensuring-a-safe-gaming-environment-igsa-launches-responsible-gaming-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Ensuring a Safe Gaming Environment: IGSA Launches Responsible Gaming Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>International Gaming Standards Association<\/strong> has supported the formation of a <strong>Responsible Gaming Committee<\/strong> to develop a worldwide standard, process and approach for predictive responsible gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RGC IGSA<\/strong> aims to provide support through the <strong>Responsible Gambling Maturity Model<\/strong>, which is a hierarchical structure that offers operators and regulators &#8220;a path from seed to quantification and a predictable <strong>RG <\/strong>model.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This model provides an opportunity for regulators and operators to \u201cmove from applying a basic policy to managing an accurate panel of quantitative data-driven KPIs\u201d before eventually using \u201cpredictive and proactive detection capabilities\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IGSA Chairman <strong>Earle G.Hall <\/strong>noted the need for a worldwide standard, process and approach for predictive responsible gaming, emphasizing that the time has come to create them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRegulators have done a great job developing their own approaches. Now it&#8217;s time to combine best practices and move towards quantitative management within this process.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMoreover, the time has come to shift the paradigm and move towards a data-driven predictability model in order to remove a significant burden from regulators and operators.
