Georgian Gambling Association<\/strong> (GGA) and the Association of Gaming Businesses of Kazakhstan<\/strong> (SRO) signed<\/a> a memorandum of cooperation. The leaders of both associations, Giorgi Mamulaishvili <\/strong>and Galimjan Duambekov<\/strong>, officially signed the bilateral document. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of the governments of Georgia and Kazakhstan. In order to expand mutual cooperation and strengthen close ties, a high-ranking official of culture and sports of Kazakhstan, Miraz Tulebaev<\/strong>, and the head of the Monitoring and Analysis Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhuldyz Erkimbaeva<\/strong>, made a 2-day working visit to Georgia. Together with Galymzhan Duambekov, they held meetings with the Georgian association\u2019s member companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Netherlands and Belgium<\/strong>, long-awaited legislative changes have come into force<\/a>, involving the introduction of broad restrictions on gambling advertising. Entain<\/strong> abandoned further negotiations<\/a> to buy a controlling stake in the Slovenian monopoly betting operator \u0160portna Loterija<\/strong>. The gambling group confirmed to the Slovenian press agency STA that they had stopped negotiations with the Ministry of Finance. The announcement came in response to the Finance Ministry\u2019s statement that all offers to acquire a stake in \u0160portna Loterija had been withdrawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
