After a tense rivalry and a tough fight, Spain won the final of the 2023 Women’s World Cup. <\/strong>In a thrilling showdown at the Australia Stadium in Sydney, Spain secured a well-deserved 1-0 victory over England with Olga Carmona<\/strong> being the only goal scorer of the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spain really showed impressive football and deserved to win. Their balanced play in midfield, as well as their ability to control the pitch and neutralize key opposition players, was critical to their success. Vilda’s work on team organization and efficient use of resources cannot be underestimated either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

England’s vulnerability on the flanks and ineffective pressing played a role in their defeat. Spain really took advantage of this weakness and found space on the flanks to create dangerous moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonmati’s performance, as the best player in the tournament, may have cemented her status as the 2023 Ballon d’Or winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
