The<\/strong> National Gaming Authority<\/strong> (ONJN<\/strong>), gambling regulator in Romania, has decided to revoke Cash Gaming SRL<\/strong>\u2019s slot machine licence. This happened due to the company’s failure to fulfil mandatory payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the company headquartered in the municipality of Bistriya, the licence was valid from 2021 to 2031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faults in Cash Gaming’s Q1 2023 filings showed that the company had not paid the full authorization fee and tax, leading to this discrepancy being identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the quarter, Cash Gaming was required to pay a commission of 1.6 million RON, but only 371,039 RON was paid out. Similarly, the tax for this period was 179,325 lei, but Cash Gaming only paid 40,330 lei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 30 days, Cash Gaming had not paid the full amount of the authorization fee and tax, which led to the Committee’s conclusion that there was a violation of article 17, paragraph 2a, of the Romanian Government’s Emergency Ordinance (GEO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with this section, the Committee has the right to revoke gambling licences if mandatory payments are not paid in full within 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its decision, the Committee confirmed that Cash Gaming is still required to pay the unpaid commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
