A number of French cities <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2022\/10\/05\/a-number-of-french-cities-and-the-media-to-boycott-the-world-cup\/\">will not broadcast<\/a> World Cup matches on giant screens in public fan zones amid concerns over rights violations of migrant workers and the environmental impact of the tournament.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, cities such as <strong>Paris, Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Lille, Reims, <\/strong>and <strong>Marseille <\/strong>have joined the boycott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Portugal<\/strong> and <strong>Spain<\/strong> have <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2022\/10\/10\/ukraine-following-spain-and-portugal-claims-to-host-the-2030-fifa-world-cup\/\">invited<\/a> <strong>Ukraine<\/strong> to jointly apply to host the <strong>2030 FIFA World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement comes as the war in Ukraine is now in its eighth month, and recently four eastern regions of the country were annexed by Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President of the <strong>Royal Spanish Football Federation (REFF) Luis Rubiales<\/strong> noted: \u201cI am convinced that in my country, in Spain, both the football family and society will be proud of the important legacy that this candidacy leaves behind for history.
