On November 1, the Curacao Gaming Control Board<\/strong> (GCB<\/strong>) launched a registration process for legal entities on its new online licensing portal<\/strong>. This step is part of the modernization of the national gambling system and is aimed at stricter and more transparent control over the activities of gambling operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, gambling operators previously registered in Curacao were often accused of insufficient protection of customer rights, participation in illegal businesses in many countries around the world, and financial violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The portal will begin accepting applications for gambling licenses on November 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To obtain a license, in addition to registration on the portal, there are a number of other mandatory conditions, including having an office in Curacao. The annual license cost is around 50,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
