{"id":3812,"date":"2023-11-28T07:18:42","date_gmt":"2023-11-28T07:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=3812"},"modified":"2023-11-28T07:18:43","modified_gmt":"2023-11-28T07:18:43","slug":"svenska-spel-pledges-sek-35m-for-youth-access-to-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/11\/28\/svenska-spel-pledges-sek-35m-for-youth-access-to-sports\/","title":{"rendered":"Svenska Spel Pledges SEK 35m for Youth Access to Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Svenska Spel<\/strong> is distributing SEK 35 million to youth sports this year through its <strong>Gr\u00e4sroten<\/strong> initiative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shared between 8,654 different associations, the money goes to, among other things, the purchase of new equipment and leadership training, while for some associations it means an opportunity to carry out projects on important issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gr\u00e4sroten initiative was launched 11 years ago and, according to Svenska Spel\u2019s annual Grassroots survey, the majority of all associations choose to buy new equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are also in favour of holding training sessions for their leaders with the aim of bringing more children and young people into the business and getting them to stay as long as possible in association life.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Patrik Hofbauer<\/strong>, President and CEO of Svenska Spel, said: \u201cWe want all children and young people to be able to play sports on equal terms.
