Preliminary assessments starting in 2022 indicate that during the period from 2016 to 2022, several million euros were laundered through illegal transactions involving at least three people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ukrainian Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries<\/strong> (KRAIL) <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/12\/21\/ukrainian-regulator-discovered-irregularities-in-the-operation-of-the-online-casino-pin-up\/\">revealed a violation of the law<\/a> in the company \u201cUkr Game Technology\u201c, which holds a license to operate the <strong>Pin-Up casino<\/strong> brand in Ukraine, as a result of an unscheduled inspection, according to the decision of KRAIL and Lotteries No. 497 of December 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Darren Keane<\/strong>, CEO of Storm International, which owns the <strong>Shangri-La<\/strong> casino chain around the world, <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/12\/18\/ban-for-locals-storm-international-ceo-on-access-to-casinos-in-kyrgyzstan\/\">was interviewed by the Fergana agency<\/a> about a strategy for attracting gamblers to Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Charles Mizzi<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2023\/12\/19\/charles-mizzi-appointed-ceo-of-the-malta-gaming-authority\/\">has been appointed<\/a> Chief Executive Officer of the <strong>Malta Gaming Authority<\/strong> (MGA) effective 26 January 2024.
