The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA)<\/strong> has revoked Rush Gaming’s <\/strong>gaming license. Despite the loss of the right to conduct games, the company is committed to maintaining players’ access to their accounts and returning all due funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorization was suspended in accordance with section 8(1)(f) of the Gambling Compliance and Enforcement Regulations. The sanction will be imposed \u201cIn accordance with Regulation 9(1)(c), due to the failure of the Authorized Person to comply with one or more of its obligations under any instrument or other applicable law of Malta.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rush Gaming is the first company to lose its operating license in 2024. Other companies that also faced such measures from the MGA included AMGO iGaming<\/strong> in December, SFJL Holding <\/strong>in California and Elite24bet Casino<\/strong> in August. They all lost their gaming licenses after breaking Maltese gambling rules last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rush Gaming will be suspended less than three weeks before the arrival of MGA’s new CEO, Charles Mizzi<\/strong>. He will begin after a period of supervision under current CEO Carl Brincat <\/strong>and brings with him over 25 years of experience in finance, investment and Maltese business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to change the CEO was made by the MGA Board of Directors in December. Charles Mizzi stated his goal to \u201ccontinue the Authority’s successful achievements and strategically lead its development\u201d to strengthen Malta’s position in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rush Gaming’s suspension may be challenged under Section 43 of the Gambling Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
