Director of the Methodology Department at the Committee emphasized that the confidentiality of data concerning participants in bets and bets will be strictly observed in accordance with tax secrecy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania, <strong>Bledi Cuci<\/strong>, unexpectedly <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/16\/albanian-socialist-party-pulls-gambling-draft-law-from-parliamentary-vote\/\">withdrew<\/a> the said bill without explanation. Earlier, <strong>Albania\u2019s parliament<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/13\/albania-partially-lifts-gambling-restrictions\/\">planned to vote<\/a> to lift a five-year ban on online sports betting, acknowledging insufficient controls over illegal activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputies <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/14\/legislative-initiative-lithuanian-mps-recommend-banning-sponsorship-in-gambling\/\">have submitted <\/a>an amendment to the <strong>Lithuanian Gambling Act<\/strong>, which will further tighten advertising rules from 2025. About 50 deputies, mostly from the ruling Fatherland Union party, signed the amendment, which prohibits gambling operators from sponsoring public events, functions, activities, individuals or legal entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, <strong>Derk Boswijk<\/strong> of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/13\/dutch-politicians-propose-complete-ban-on-gambling-advertising\/\">filed a mandate<\/a> to ban all gambling advertising in the Netherlands. In July, regulatory reforms were introduced to restrict \u201cuntargeted advertising\u201d across TV, radio and print, and in some public spaces like cinemas and cafes. The provisions excluded general online marketing, direct mailing, and social media advertising.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Senate of Colombia<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/13\/colombia-to-debate-tax-increase-on-online-gambling\/\">has confirmed<\/a> that tax measures on online gambling will be reviewed to support the government\u2019s plans to overhaul the nation\u2019s public welfare and healthcare systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7777 Gaming<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/13\/strategic-move-7777-gaming-strengthens-its-position-in-bulgaria-in-cooperation-with-slotino\/\">continues to expand<\/a> its presence in Bulgaria, aiming for additional growth in the country through the <strong>Slotino<\/strong> online casino.
