{"id":4697,"date":"2024-02-20T11:38:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-20T11:38:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=4697"},"modified":"2024-02-20T11:38:54","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T11:38:54","slug":"rivalry-enhances-dota-2-focused-blacklist-international-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/02\/20\/rivalry-enhances-dota-2-focused-blacklist-international-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Rivalry Enhances Dota 2-focused Blacklist International Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Esports bookmaker <strong>Rivalry<\/strong> has renewed its partnership with Tier <strong>One Entertainment<\/strong>-owned esports organisation <strong>Blacklist International<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the Dota 2-focused deal, the two companies will continue to jointly operate the Southeast Asian team, Blacklist Rivalry, along with a new focus on more \u2018creative storytelling\u2019 and fan-focused activations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tryke Gutierrez<\/strong>, CEO at Tier One Entertainment, commented: \u201cEntering into our second year, we will continue building Blacklist Rivalry into a top-tier team that can rival the world\u2019s most talented squads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs we look to maintain a culture of winning at Blacklist Rivalry, our partners at Rivalry will be focused on building deeper fandom around the team and highlighting the impactful narratives that emerge throughout their competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis project started out as a dream and we will always be thankful to Rivalry for making this a reality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the activations noted include meet-and-greets and producing new episodes of Blacklist Rivalry\u2019s behind-the-scenes docuseries UnRivaled. Activations at Dota 2 events were also highlighted in the new partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blacklist Rivalry was first launched in December 2022 in a deal that saw Tier One Entertainment enter the Dota 2 scene. Since the team\u2019s debut, Blacklist Rivalry has qualified for two tier-one events \u2013 ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 and the Bali Major 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside announcing the renewal, Blacklist Rivalry unveiled its latest roster for the 2024 which includes Abed Azel \u2018Abed\u2019 L. Yusop, Kim \u2018Gabbi\u2019 Santos, Timothy John \u2018Tims\u2019 Randrup, Juan \u2018Carlo\u2019 Chua Manalo and Jinn Marrey \u2018Palos\u2019 Lamatao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is Rivalry\u2019s second partnership in February 2024 already, with the betting company teaming up with ex-professional League of Legends player Filipe \u2018Ranger\u2019 Brombilla de Barrios.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bookmaker isn\u2019t the only company that jointly operates a team with Blacklist Invitational.
