{"id":4866,"date":"2024-03-05T08:42:10","date_gmt":"2024-03-05T08:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=4866"},"modified":"2024-03-05T08:42:14","modified_gmt":"2024-03-05T08:42:14","slug":"flutter-confirms-ned-exit-of-david-lazzarato","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/03\/05\/flutter-confirms-ned-exit-of-david-lazzarato\/","title":{"rendered":"Flutter Confirms NED Exit of David Lazzarato"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The board of <strong>Flutter Entertainment Plc<\/strong> has confirmed that <strong>David Lazzarato<\/strong> will not seek re-election as an independent Non-Executive Director (NED) of the FTSE100 and NYSE gambling group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision comes ahead of Flutter\u2019s scheduled annual general meeting (AGM) on 1 May 2024, in which Lazzarato will resign from all duties as corporate NED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An expert in financial planning and risk management of PLCs, Lazzarato served as the former Director and Chair of Auditing for The Stars Group Inc (TAG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, Lazzarato was maintained as a corporate NED in the merger of Paddy Power Betfair with TSG, the transformative \u00a35bn deal which subsequently formed Flutter Entertainment Plc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Informing investors of the directorate change, <strong>John Bryant<\/strong>, Chair of Flutter, commented: \u201cI wish to take this opportunity to thank David for his exceptional contribution to the Board over the past eight years.
