The Football Federation of Moldova (FMF) <\/strong>announced that UEFA<\/strong> has decided to disqualify five members of the women’s national team for their involvement in match manipulation or insufficient provision of information about contractual actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most stringent measures are applied to coach Mikhail Bezhenar,<\/strong> who has virtually no right to engage in any area related to football for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four players received less severe punishments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Doina Ciobanu<\/strong> – disqualification for 2 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Dumitritsa Prisecar<\/strong> \u2013 disqualification for 1 year<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Nadezhda Kolesnichenko<\/strong> \u2014 disqualification for 1 year<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Anastasia Sivolobova<\/strong> – disqualification for 3 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FMF requires that regular seminars be held with teams and clubs on issues of sports integrity. However, match-fixing incidents over time lead to Moldovan football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
