Richards brings a wealth of financial experience in gaming, cybersecurity, and accounting to GiG, having previously worked at <strong>Corero<\/strong> <strong>Network Security, Kambi, Shell, and KPMG<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As CFO, Richards will oversee the platform and sportsbook finance department and support the broader strategic development of the business, including mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and market development. This comes as GiG prepares to list on <strong>Nasdaq Stockholm<\/strong> following its separation from<strong> GiG Media<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Richards said after appointment: \u201cI am delighted to be joining GiG at such a pivotal time in the company\u2019s growth story. The strength of the product and market reach, coupled with a best-in-class management team, will enable the company to rapidly expand and gain market share. Working with such an experienced leadership team will enable me to further support the continued development of the GiG platform, cementing its position as a market leader for operators around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GiG believes Richards\u2019 appointment will help accelerate the growth of its Platform and Sportsbook division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEO of Platform and Sportsbook <strong>Richard Carter<\/strong> added: \u201cPhil\u2019s appointment is another important step in ensuring that we achieve the high bar we have set for the business.
