McCarthy, described as a &#8220;seasoned entertainment executive,&#8221; will join the audit committee, while Bennett will serve on the risk and sustainability committee. Both appointments are effective from July 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flutter Chairman <strong>John Bryant<\/strong> said: \u201cChristine and Rob\u2019s extensive experience in the entertainment industry will be invaluable assets to Flutter as we continue to expand our leadership position as a global provider of online sports betting and gaming.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>McCarthy<\/strong> has held several leadership positions at <strong>The Walt Disney Company<\/strong>, including senior vice president and treasurer, and executive vice president of corporate real estate, alliances, and treasury, before becoming CFO. She most recently served as a strategic advisor to <strong>Disney<\/strong>. Additionally, McCarthy is a director and audit committee chairman at <strong>Procter &amp; Gamble Company<\/strong> and a director and finance committee chairman at <strong>FM Global<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bennett<\/strong> is the managing director of <strong>Hilltop Investments, LLC<\/strong>, a private equity firm. He has previously served as president of <strong>Discovery Holding Company<\/strong>, and president, CEO, and CFO of <strong>Liberty Media Corporation<\/strong>. His past directorships include positions at <strong>Warner Bros.
