These targets were initially announced in January 2023, providing investors with a long-term vision of significant revenue growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The original targets were based on five key strategies: leveraging platform flexibility to retain key partners, implementing AI-powered pricing, expanding North American contracts, signing tier-1 operators across the product portfolio, and entering Asian markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Board concluded that while Kambi has made progress in the areas under its control, slower-than-expected regulatory developments in some key markets are likely to delay revenue growth from these regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this week, Kambi announced the appointment of <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/07\/02\/werner-becher-appointed-as-kambi-ceo\/\"><strong>Werner Becher<\/strong><\/a> as CEO, replacing founder <strong>Christian Nylen<\/strong>, who held the position for 14 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kambi expects 2024 to be a transitional year, with revenues impacted by <strong>Penn\u2019s<\/strong> online migration, contract renewals with Kindred and other partners, and regulatory delays in the Brazilian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strategically important, in 2023, Kambi reorganized its financial assets by redeeming <strong>\u20ac8 million<\/strong> in convertible bonds held by former shareholder <strong>Kindred Group<\/strong>. This move gave Kambi the independence to control its future strategic direction. It is estimated that Kambi\u2019s trading revenue in 2024 will be between<strong> \u20ac170 million and \u20ac180 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corporate goals will now focus on commercializing <strong>Shape Games<\/strong>&#8216; client services UI\/UX solutions and <strong>Abios&#8217;<\/strong> esports data odds.
