The proposed legislation seeks to end the monopoly of state-owned Veikkaus Oy, which currently holds exclusive rights to sports betting and online casinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While <strong>the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden,<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/07\/04\/danish-authority-spillemyndigheden-gains-expanded-gambling-regulatory-powers\/\"> has been granted<\/a> increased authority to address problematic operators under the updated Gambling Act. Additionally, <strong>DGA <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/07\/01\/denmark-set-to-launch-b2b-gambling-license-applications-in-september\/\">has announced<\/a> it will begin accepting applications for B2B supplier licenses starting September 1.
