The company announced that it has reached an agreement to purchase the outstanding shares of Bally\u2019s for $18.25 per share. While Dutch live casino supplier Stakelogic<\/strong> has entered<\/a> into an agreement to sell 100% of its equity shares to Japanese entertainment giant Sega Sammy Holdings<\/strong>, through its subsidiary Sega Sammy Creation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apollo Global<\/strong> has initiated<\/a> a blockbuster deal to simultaneously acquire IGT Plc\u2019s Gaming<\/strong> & Digital business alongside Everi Holdings Inc<\/strong>. Boyd Gaming<\/strong> executives have finally addressed rumors of a multi-billion dollar acquisition of PENN Entertainment<\/strong>. Boyd CEO Kevin Smith<\/strong> responded<\/a> to a report from Reuters during the company\u2019s Q2 earnings call this week. The report detailed Boyd\u2019s interest in acquiring PENN Entertainment. The deal, which could be worth more than $10 billion, would be the largest merger in the gambling industry since Eldorado Resorts acquired Caesars Entertainment for $17.3 billion in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UAE<\/strong> regulators have issued<\/a> a license for the country\u2019s first officially authorized lottery. The Game LLC<\/strong> will operate the lottery under the UAE Lottery <\/strong>brand. In 2023, the UAE appointed former MGM Resorts<\/strong> CEO Jim Murren<\/strong> and associate Kevin Mullaly<\/strong> as Chairman and CEO of the GCGRA to explore commercial gambling opportunities.
