{"id":6859,"date":"2024-09-16T11:56:54","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T10:56:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=6859"},"modified":"2024-09-16T11:56:58","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T10:56:58","slug":"middlesbrough-fc-and-kindred-strengthen-ties-with-extended-sponsorship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/09\/16\/middlesbrough-fc-and-kindred-strengthen-ties-with-extended-sponsorship\/","title":{"rendered":"Middlesbrough FC and Kindred Strengthen Ties with Extended Sponsorship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Kindred Group<\/strong> is extending its position as <strong>Middlesbrough FC<\/strong>\u2019s principal front-of-shirt partner for a further two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement, which began in 2018, will run for almost ten years, making it one of the longest-running sponsorship deals in British football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, the partnership will also continue to fund the <strong>Middlesbrough FC Foundation\u2019s (MFCF) Team Talk <\/strong>initiative \u2013 a men\u2019s mental health programme that uses the club, its players, coach and staff to engage with men on their wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sam Mead<\/strong>, UK General Manager of Kindred Group, commented: \u201cKindred\u2019s relationship with Middlesbrough is one of football\u2019s longest running and impactful, so far as community outreach is concerned. That is why we were committed to extending the partnership for another two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe recognise that we are in the privileged position to positively influence clubs and their communities \u2013 a responsibility we take seriously. That\u2019s why the basis of this latest partnership will be to help showcase the MFC Foundation\u2019s wide-ranging work, including the men\u2019s mental health initiative Team Talk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the operator\u2019s <strong>Unibet<\/strong> branding continues to feature on the first team shirts, in another record partnership for the club. This season, the shirts also feature Kindred\u2019s responsible gaming message: \u201cZero% Mission\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindred have also pledged to donate a portion of their hospitality and merchandising revenue to fans through competitions and prize draws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the brand will donate front-of-shirt sponsorship space to MFCF throughout the season, allowing for the promotion of the club\u2019s charitable initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEveryone at the club is absolutely delighted to extend our partnership with the Kindred Group for another two years,\u201d <strong>Liam McGuinness<\/strong>, Head of Commercial at Middlesbrough FC, added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMost importantly, we\u2019d like to thank them for continuing their vital support of the club\u2019s Foundation \u2013 especially through the Team Talk mental health initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe health and wellbeing of our local community is very important to ourselves and Kindred.
