Synonymous with low-cost airline easyJet<\/strong> ,the venture marks the entry of an easy\u00ae<\/strong> brand for sports betting audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The easy\u00ae sportsbook venture is powered by the peer-to-peer betting exchange of Matchbook<\/strong>, who will operate easyBet.net under the UK Gambling Commission license (UKGC)<\/strong> of Triplebet Limited<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the launch statement highlights, \u201ceasyBet is a strategic brand extension with its name only one letter apart from easyJet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

easyGroup has previously pursued brand infringement disputes in sports betting involving the \u201ceasy\u201d name, such as easyBet.com<\/strong> and easyBet.co.za.<\/strong> \u201cThe launch of easyBet.net will assure customers of a legitimate member of the easy\u00ae family and a trusted brand, while preventing further brand infringement in this sector.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With easyBet.net\u2019s UK debut, the easy\u00ae<\/a> brand follows other British mass-market names like Virgin, Sky, <\/strong>and News UK (The Sun and talkSport<\/strong>) in online gambling ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

easyBet.net joins over 200 global brands backed by British Greek-Cypriot billionaire Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, who created the easy\u00ae group to offer consumers \u201cbest and fair value services.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sir Stelios remarked, \u201cWe are thrilled to welcome easyBet.net to the \u2018easy\u2019 family of brands. This is a natural extension, complementing our other major consumer brands in the UK and Ireland.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
