{"id":7744,"date":"2024-12-04T11:34:44","date_gmt":"2024-12-04T11:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=7744"},"modified":"2024-12-04T11:34:50","modified_gmt":"2024-12-04T11:34:50","slug":"merkur-group-announces-new-appointments-in-leadership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2024\/12\/04\/merkur-group-announces-new-appointments-in-leadership\/","title":{"rendered":"Merkur Group Announces New Appointments in Leadership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Merkur Group<\/strong> has announced significant personnel changes, appointing three new members to the Board of Directors as part of its generational transition program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The changes will take effect on January 1, 2025, involving the redistribution of functions across key departments, including sales and gaming operations management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dominik Raasch<\/strong>, currently Head of Sales and Management Spokesman at adp Merkur, will take over the Sales division of Merkur,&nbsp; succeeding outgoing Management Board Vice-Chair <strong>J\u00fcrgen St\u00fchmeyer.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St\u00fchmeyer, who has dedicated 37 years to the company, will move to the Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors of the <strong>Gauselmann Family Foundation,<\/strong> continuing his collaboration with Merkur in a new capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mike Sellenriek<\/strong> and <strong>David Schnabel<\/strong> will take the helm of Merkur Group&#8217;s gaming operations, highlighting the company\u2019s strategic focus on this area. Sellenriek, with 27 years of experience at Merkur, will oversee the arcade segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schnabel, who played a key role in developing Merkur&#8217;s casino operations, will lead the newly established casino management division, marking the first time this segment will be represented separately on the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These appointments coincide with the retirement of <strong>Dieter Kuhlmann,<\/strong> who has long served as a member of the Management Board and overseen gaming operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kuhlmann, who joined Merkur in 2000, was recognized for his achievements in operations and employee engagement development throughout his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Michael Gauselmann<\/strong>, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated: \u201cIt is a great pleasure for me that we have successfully completed the rejuvenation of the Group&#8217;s Management Board with these personnel changes.
