Additionally, <strong>Turkish authorities<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/01\/30\/turkish-authorities-tighten-measures-against-the-black-market\/\">are intensifying their fight<\/a> against illegal gambling platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lawmakers in Hawaii <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/01\/29\/hawaii-to-try-again-to-legalize-online-gambling\/\">have introduced<\/a> a cluster of long-shot bills that would open up the state to online casino gaming and\/or sports betting. While <strong>Sen. Joseph Addabbo <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/01\/27\/new-york-senate-introduces-bill-to-legalize-and-regulate-online-and-sweepstake-casinos\/\">has once again introduced<\/a> his bill in the <strong>New York Senate<\/strong> to legalize and regulate online casinos in the Empire State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advertising restrictions in <strong>Australia<\/strong> have led to the government <a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/01\/31\/gambling-advertising-to-be-banned-from-public-transport-in-new-south-wales\/\">banning<\/a> gambling advertising on public transport in <strong>New South Wales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) <\/strong>CEO was one of the headliners at <strong>ICE Barcelona<\/strong> this year. <strong>Andrew Rhodes <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/01\/28\/ukgc-ceo-delivers-wide-ranging-speech-at-ice-barcelona-on-state-of-uk-industry\/\">took the opportunity to assess<\/a> the current state of the gambling industry, and particularly in the UK.
