{"id":8331,"date":"2025-02-04T11:20:16","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T11:20:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=8331"},"modified":"2025-02-04T11:20:21","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T11:20:21","slug":"dazn-expands-content-new-deal-with-european-football-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/02\/04\/dazn-expands-content-new-deal-with-european-football-league\/","title":{"rendered":"DAZN Expands Content: New Deal With European Football League"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>DAZN <\/strong>has landed a deal with the <strong>European League of Football (ELF) <\/strong>in an eight-year broadcasting deal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move sees Europe\u2019s largest American football league gain wider media exposure via DAZN as the OTT broadcaster agreed to show all 101 of the 2025 season\u2019s scheduled match-ups.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the partnership, the ELF has launched an <strong>\u201cELF Game Pass<\/strong>\u201d offering with DAZN to allow its content to be directly streamed to dedicated fans of the league, similar to the streaming platform\u2019s <strong>&nbsp;\u201cNFL Game Pass\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zeljko Karajica<\/strong>, Managing Director of the ELF, commented: \u201cThe long-term partnership with DAZN marks a landmark moment in ELF\u2019s history.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith DAZN at our side, we can continue to drive forward our vision of establishing American football as an integral part of the European sports scene and popularising it worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 16 teams compete in the ELF, with participants coming from Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Italy, Hungary, Spain and Switzerland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in a bid to build up a wider fanbase, the league holds events outside of these countries, having hosted an international game in Croatia last year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karajica noted: \u201cThe combination of an innovative platform and enormous reach will allow us to bring the games and stories of the ELF to millions of fans around the world. This is a huge step for the league, its franchises and football in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are convinced that this collaboration will play a\u00a0key role in growing our fan base, further igniting passion for the sport and taking the European League of Football to a new level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The league has formed the alliance with an aim to expand its global viewership by accessing over 200 markets worldwide via the broadcaster\u2019s online streaming.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, DAZN will utilise the deal to enhance its content offering as it continues to strengthen the number of sports, competitions and leagues available on its streaming platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shay Segev<\/strong>, CEO of DAZN Group, added: \u201cThe European League of Football is a dynamic newcomer in European sport. As the International Home of NFL Game Pass, DAZN is driving the rapid growth in popularity of American Football in Europe. The ELF has proven its potential to drive this further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur mission at DAZN is to offer the most attractive and diverse experience, and the ELF shares this ambition with its high-energy content.
