The former generated <strong>\u20ac250 million<\/strong> in revenue, supported by a <strong>13% increase in Betting and Gaming Content<\/strong> and a <strong>16% increase in Managed Betting Services revenue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carsten Koerl<\/strong>, Sportradar CEO, commented: \u201cWe had a strong start to the year with record quarterly revenue as we delivered broad-based growth across our leading product suite and diverse global footprint, while expanding margins and cash flow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe continued momentum we are generating builds upon our success from last year, demonstrating the durability of our business and our mission-critical role in the expanding sports ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the period, the sports technology group notably announced the extension and expansion of its partnership with <strong>Major League Baseball (MLB)<\/strong> for eight years, beginning with the 2025 season. Sportradar now exclusively distributes ultra-low latency official MLB data, media content, including MLB Statcast Data, and audiovisual content across our global client network.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDuring the quarter, we also further bolstered our leading content portfolio with the extension and expansion of our partnership with MLB, and we signed an agreement to acquire <strong>IMG ARENA<\/strong>\u2019s sports betting rights portfolio,\u201d Koerl added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited by the unique opportunities these valuable properties will provide to our customers and look forward to generating additional value for our shareholders in 2025 and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another significant milestone for the firm was its agreement to acquire IMG ARENA and its global sports betting rights portfolio.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the same period, Sportradar also expanded into cricket with <strong>Alpha Odds<\/strong>, its AI-enabled odds calculation and risk management solution. This is a sport that generates an estimated<strong> \u20ac80bn<\/strong> in global betting turnover each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, the company also netted a multi-year partnership with the <strong>Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV)<\/strong> to safeguard CBV competitions from corruption and match-fixing, and also extended its collaboration with the <strong>Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sports Content, Technology and Services revenues <strong>of \u20ac61m increased 33%<\/strong> year-over-year. Meanwhile, the company generated strong revenue growth globally, with the rest of the <strong>world up 12% and the US up 31%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Looking at profit, the period stood <strong>at \u20ac24m, up \u20ac25 million<\/strong>, compared to a <strong>loss of \u20ac1m, <\/strong>in the same quarter a year ago.
