\u2013 What was your first job and what led you to pursue a career in the iGaming industry?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 My first professional role was as a Business Analyst at a betting software company. Back then, iGaming was in its infancy, but I quickly realized that it blended everything I loved \u2014 complex systems, human psychology, and rapid innovation. The potential to shape digital entertainment for millions was irresistible, and I knew this wasn\u2019t just a job \u2014 it was an evolving frontier I wanted to help build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 What was the single biggest turning point in your career?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The pivotal moment came when I left a stable, high-ranking role to co-create and build Pascal Gaming<\/strong> from the ground up. It was a bold leap, launching a new gaming provider in an already competitive market. But that decision redefined my trajectory. It pushed me to think not just like a product manager but also like a visionary, a brand architect, and a market disruptor. We didn\u2019t just build games \u2014 we built identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 What have been the biggest challenges you\u2019ve faced in your career, and how did you overcome them?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 One of the most demanding challenges was aligning cutting-edge product innovation with strict regulatory frameworks, especially while scaling across multiple regions. It required a delicate balance: creating thrilling user experiences without compromising compliance. I overcame this by fostering tight-knit collaboration between legal, tech, and UX teams, and by leading cross-functional workshops that broke silos and encouraged holistic thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Who has been the key mentor in your career, and what is the best piece of advice you ever received that still drives your work today?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 My most influential mentor was the first manager I worked with in iGaming \u2013 Zaven Sahakyan<\/strong> (CEO of Gabsys). He told me: \u201cGreat products aren\u2019t built in meetings \u2014 they\u2019re built by understanding the player when no one is watching.\u201d That perspective taught me to obsess over real player behavior and always root innovation in actual user need, not assumptions or trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 What advice would you offer to those just beginning their journey in the industry? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Dive in with curiosity, not ego. iGaming is one of the fastest-evolving industries \u2014 trends can flip in a quarter. The winners aren\u2019t those who know everything; they\u2019re the ones who keep learning, stay humble, and understand that no matter how good the tech is, it\u2019s emotion that drives the spin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 You\u2019ve seen the iGaming industry evolve over the years. What are the biggest changes you\u2019ve witnessed, and where do you think the industry is heading next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 I\u2019ve seen the transition from clunky browser games to immersive, mobile-first ecosystems with dynamic features like crash mechanics, social layers, and crypto integrations. The next wave? Hyper-personalization powered by AI, cross-platform gamification, and more creator-driven content \u2014 we\u2019re moving toward a Netflix-like gaming future, where players expect entertainment on their terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 You\u2019ve made bold moves throughout your career. Do you have a personal mantra or philosophy that guides your professional decisions? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 \u201cDon\u2019t build for trends. Build for behavior.\u201d Trends pass \u2014 behaviors persist. If you design around how people feel, react, and engage, your product will always stay relevant, no matter how the tech or market shifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 What accomplishment in your career are you most proud of, and why does it stand out to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 One of the accomplishments I\u2019m most proud of is founding InSloter<\/strong>. It wasn\u2019t just about launching another iGaming platform \u2014 it was about creating an insider voice for the slot community. We didn\u2019t want to echo news \u2014 we wanted to lead the conversation. Seeing InSloter grow into a trusted source for both professionals and enthusiasts, and watching it shape how people engage with the slot world \u2014 that\u2019s impact and my main goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 iGaming is known for its fast-paced and innovative environment. How do you stay inspired and maintain your creativity amidst the industry’s rapid evolution?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 I stay close to the player. I play games, read forums, and follow niche communities. I also expose myself to other industries \u2014 fashion, music, film \u2014 because creativity often sparks at the intersection of unexpected ideas. The moment you isolate yourself in the iGaming bubble, you stop innovating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently in your career? What lessons have you learned from any missteps or regrets?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 I would have embraced failure earlier. In my early days, I was obsessed with getting it right the first time. But iGaming \u2014 like any frontier industry \u2014 rewards experimentation. The faster you test, fail, and learn, the closer you get to breakthrough ideas. Mistakes are tuition in this business \u2014 and I\u2019ve paid mine in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
