It will be supported by fellow NEDs <strong>Limor Ganot<\/strong> and <strong>Ori Shaked<\/strong>, who will also serve as members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An expert in the strategic planning of mass-market technologies, Susan Standiford is the former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of <strong>IKEA Retail<\/strong> and the private wealth platform <strong>StepStone<\/strong>. She was appointed as a director of Evoke Plc in November 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investors were informed that \u201cthe Committee will provide Board-level oversight of Evoke\u2019s major technology investments and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy, risk management, and operational effectiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the leadership of CEO <strong>Per Widerstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, Evoke continues to prioritise the delivery of key technology upgrades to consolidate group costs and synergies across its portfolio of <strong>William Hill, 888, and Mr Green<\/strong> brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>2025<\/strong>, Evoke\u2019s leadership has set a target of securing annualised cost savings in the range of<strong> \u00a315\u2013\u00a325m<\/strong> net, adding to the <strong>\u00a345m<\/strong> in cost savings secured in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The combination of improved cost controls and a strengthened balance sheet has enabled Evoke to expand into new markets, including financing its recent investment to acquire a <strong>51% stake<\/strong> in <strong>Romanian iGaming operator Winner.ro<\/strong> for<strong> \u00a310m<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jon Mendelsohn<\/strong>, Evoke Chairman, commented: \u201cIn a world where technology is evolving at breakneck speed, and in an industry where technology leadership is a core driver of sustainable success, our Technology Committee will play an important role in strengthening the Board\u2019s governance and long-term strategy development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Committee will focus on providing transparency and insight across our product, technology, data, and operational initiatives, as well as informing the Board and executive leadership on technology trends with the potential to shape the Group\u2019s long-term competitive advantages.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget to subscribe to our <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/sbceurasia\">Telegram channel<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evoke Plc has established a new \u201cTechnology Committee\u201d to oversee the progress of tech investments and initiatives undertaken by the LSE-listed gambling group.
