{"id":9813,"date":"2025-06-17T12:43:51","date_gmt":"2025-06-17T11:43:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/?p=9813"},"modified":"2025-06-17T12:43:56","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T11:43:56","slug":"betmgm-raises-full-year-net-revenue-guidance-on-strong-first-half","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sbceurasia.com\/en\/2025\/06\/17\/betmgm-raises-full-year-net-revenue-guidance-on-strong-first-half\/","title":{"rendered":"BetMGM Raises Full-Year Net Revenue Guidance on Strong First Half"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Entain<\/strong> and <strong>MGM Resorts International<\/strong> have maintained profitable momentum with their <strong>BetMGM<\/strong> joint venture going into <strong>Q2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the financial preliminary for the period ending <strong>13 June<\/strong>, the North America-facing operator has kept an upwards trajectory in terms of net revenue growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contributing to this were strong net revenue developments across both the operator\u2019s iGaming and online sportsbook platforms \u2013 complimented by handle growth. Full results will be announced on <strong>29 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest information comes off the back of consistent Q1 tailwinds for BetMGM, which brought<strong> it 34% YoY growth<\/strong> in net revenue for the three months ending March \u2013 or <strong>$657m<\/strong> compared to the<strong> $489m<\/strong> for the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the previous quarter, iGaming net revenue grew <strong>by 27% YoY<\/strong>, going up from<strong> $348m to $443m YoY<\/strong>. Meanwhile, betting revenue went <strong>up 68% from $116m <\/strong>in Q1 2024<strong> to $194m<\/strong> in Q1 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EBITDA<\/strong> came at <strong>$22m<\/strong>, reaching a net positive after going up by <strong>$154m YoY<\/strong> from the same quarter the year prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Q1 results, <strong>Adam Greenblatt<\/strong>, CEO of BetMGM, commented: \u201cThe momentum we built in the second half of 2024 continued into the first quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs we approach May, we remain confident in achieving full year positive EBITDA in 2025, supported by solid underlying activity trends and our successful delivery of positive EBITDA in the first quarter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In line with the Q1 growth and the Q2 preliminary, BetMGM has now updated its FY2025 guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full-year net revenue expectations now sit at a minimum<strong> of $2.6bn,<\/strong> up from the previous guidance of <strong>between $2.4bn and $2.5bn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Predictions for positive FY2025 contributions from betting and iGaming have been reinforced, while FY25 EBITDA is now expected to reach <strong>$100m \u2013<\/strong> a positive step towards BetMGM\u2019s long-term strategy to reach EBITDA <strong>of $500m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget to subscribe to our <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/sbceurasia\">Telegram channel<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Entain and MGM Resorts International have maintained profitable momentum with their BetMGM joint venture going into Q2.
