He will report directly to <strong>Kevin Harrington,<\/strong> CEO of Flutter UKI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reilly commented: \u201cWe have very ambitious plans in the UK and Ireland, and there is huge potential across the Flutter business as AI transforms how we work, develop and innovate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly proud to be taking on this position and look forward to building on our unrivalled position in this market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reilly carries an expansive senior leadership experience from his previous roles, which include Chief Product Officer of Flutter UKI, Managing Director of <strong>Tombola<\/strong>, as well Head of Sportsbook at <strong>Paddy Power<\/strong>, of which he\u2019s been a part of since 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harrington added: \u201cFlutter UKI is a brilliant business with iconic brands, and now is the perfect time to focus on the next phase in our growth cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLike other operators in this market, we face the challenge of rising costs, regulatory pressure and increasing competition, but I truly believe we are uniquely placed to take this challenge head on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very pleased that Ben will be taking on this role and convinced that under him our brands will thrive long into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reilly\u2019s new venture is part of a wider Flutter UKI restructuring campaign to simplify operations, consolidating both the UK and Ireland brand under a unified leadership for streamlined management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that current <strong>Sky Bet<\/strong> CCO <strong>Steve Birch <\/strong>and <strong>David Newton<\/strong>, CCO of <strong>Paddy Power,<\/strong> will depart later this year \u2013 something unrelated to the recently impacted 220 roles at Flutter UKI.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harrington added: \u201cI want to thank Steve and David for the tremendous contribution they have made to Flutter over their time in the business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new role of Chief Operating Officer is also being created to support Reilly in his new endeavour, with <strong>Dom Crosthwaite,<\/strong> current Head of Sportsbook Product and Trading, set to take on the duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget to subscribe to our <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/sbceurasia\">Telegram channel!<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Flutter UKI has announced Ben Reilly as the new Chief Commercial Officer to manage the company\u2019s UK and Ireland brands.
