Ivan Liashenko, the former Chief Marketing Officer at Parimatch, has had a long and successful career in the iGaming industry. Liashenko began his career in the finance and fraud analyst role at Parimatch, where he learned fast and improved both himself and the company. Despite working in the same company for a long time, Liashenko has seen Parimatch go through numerous changes and shifts in values and business approaches.
“This allowed me to continuously learn and grow as a professional”- says Liashenko.
Liashenko has held various roles at Parimatch, including Head of Product and CMO, and has recently launched his own company, Finelink.
He came up with the idea for Finelink while working as the CMO at Parimatch, where he noticed that the company was losing a significant amount of leads due to issues such as long page loading times and errors on landing pages.
“I wanted to solve this problem systematically, not just for one company, but for every marketing manager, affiliate, and social media marketer.”
Finelink aims to solve these problems by allowing users to easily check the functionality of their links from any device and location, and receive alerts if there are any issues. In the first six months since its launch, Finelink has already gained commercial clients and is finalizing its product design.
As the CEO of Finelink, Liashenko has found that the role is much more challenging than any of his previous positions.
In addition to handling all legal and financial matters and developing a strategic plan for the company, Liashenko is also taking on the risk of investing his own time and money into the business.
“The biggest challenge has been handling all legal and financial matters and developing a strategic plan for the company. I’m also taking on the risk of investing my own time and money into the business. However, I believe that I am in the best shape to take on this challenge and I’m determined to make Finelink a success.”
When we asked about his biggest boost in his career, Liashenko credits long tea times with a senior developer who introduced him to the world of tech. “That was a great opportunity for me as a product manager and I used it to my advantage.”
Liashenko also mentioned that he wishes he had been more proactive in seeking out new experiences and learning opportunities earlier in his career.
“It’s not so much a regret as it is a more mature view, but I wish I had been more proactive in seeking out new experiences and learning opportunities earlier in my career. I believe that constantly learning and seeking out new experiences is crucial for personal and professional growth.”
Overall, Liashenko’s career has been marked by a willingness to embrace change and try new things, and he advises others to do the same. He believes that the ability to think big and abstract are key to success in any role, and that seeking out new experiences and learning opportunities is crucial for personal and professional growth.
