Entain, the UK’s leading interactive entertainment corporation, has agreed to pay up to £120m to acquire all outstanding shares of 365scores, a digital sports scores and information business.
Customers will have access to a wider selection of interactive content through a combination of 365scores’ expertise in sports media content and Entain’s global reach.
Entain noted that 365scores has over 15 million active users worldwide and is one of the top five score analysis apps worldwide according to Data.ai.
Entain also announced a turnover of £4.2bn for 2022. Underlying EBITDA for 2022 was £993m, up 13% year-over-year, while gross profit rose 11% from £2.43bn to £2.71bn.
Jette Nygaard-Andersen, CEO of Entain, said of the results: «We made excellent financial, operational and strategic progress during 2022 and took significant strides towards our goal of being the global leader in betting, gaming and interactive entertainment.»
Founded in 2004, Entain already owns a number of UK online casino and sports betting domains such as Bwin.com, Ladbrokes.com, Sportingbet.com and Coral.co.uk, and last year it signed an agreement with Eastern European operator Olympic Entertainment Group and a separate agreement to purchase a small Canadian business, Dies Limited.
