Light & Wonder has decided to deepen its longstanding relationship with the Betsson Group in order to expand its presence in new markets around the world.
Under this deal, which is considered “opening new exciting opportunities”, Light & Wonder will continue to provide its own content, as well as various third-party materials through the OPENGAMING system (OGS).
It also gives the European operator a “significant increase” in the content available in all current and future markets in which the company already operates or plans to enter.
Betsson’s Head of Supplier Relations, Laura Peretta, expressed her gratitude to Light & Wonder for their long cooperation and support throughout Betsson’s journey in the gaming industry. She emphasized that Light & Wonder has been a reliable partner from the very beginning, when Betsson first entered the market, and they have always been there, even during times of change in the industry.
Peretta further noted that the OpenGaming ecosystem provides a high level of expertise, scalability, and reliable content delivery. The Betsson Group is delighted to continue its strong partnership with Light & Wonder and looks forward to future joint achievements.
The OpenGaming ecosystem offers over 3,500 games from various leading game studios around the world. This is an extensive selection that ensures the variety and quality of content.
It is important to note that all games available through OpenGaming are supported by various responsible gaming tools. This ensures that the gaming experience remains safe and the welfare of the players is taken care of.
Magdalena Podhorska-Okolow, Managing Director Europe at Light & Wonder, added that the Betsson Group is an important operator with a long-term commitment and trust in Light & Wonder over the years. She noted that the extension of the agreement is a confirmation of the plans of the Betsson Group to consider Light & Wonder as a key partner for joint development.
This week, Betsson entered into an agreement with PA Betting Services (PABS) to provide horse racing content to their online bookmakers. Under this agreement, Betsson will receive editorial content related to local horse racing, such as horse racing verdicts, comments and tips. This content will be delivered through the PABS distribution platform.
