GamCare released its guidelines on tightening gambling blocking in banking systems as part of its Gambling Related Financial Harm (GRFH) program. OnAir Entertainment obtained a licence in Georgia and opened a new studio in its capital Tbilisi, further expanding throughout Europe. OnAir Entertainment, along with two other European studios in Riga, Latvia and Bucharest, Romania, also plans to open additional US studios.
SCGO received an official online gambling licence in the Netherlands. The company now has the ability to offer its gaming platform to players in the Netherlands for the next five years, until June 22, 2028. With the new licence, SCGO becomes the 24th legal online gambling operator in the Netherlands. The main business of the company is associated with the VBET brand, which currently operates under the MGA licence.
Premier League clubs have collectively agreed to remove gambling advertising from the front of their shirts. Beginning in 2021, Eastern European countries and the CIS increasingly implement various gambling advertising bans. SBC CIS offered a breakdown of possible reasons as to why this is occurring, how destructive gambling advertising can truly be, and what operators should take to avoid harsh regulations.
Spribe, the company behind the super-successful Aviator game series, appointed Giorgi Tsutskiridze as Chief Commercial Officer. He will be tasked with managing interagency collaboration in areas such as budgeting, sales processes and marketing strategies, including branding and advertising. Spinomenal and NetBet entered into a partnership agreement that will expand the range of the operator’s online casinos.
