4H Agency, an international gambling business consultancy boutique, offered their comments on the Ukrainian court decision to cancel the annulment of the gambling licence granted to JOKER brand.

Marina Ilina, CEO at PIN-UP Global, a company that’s currently represented in six countries around the world — Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Armenia and Peru — sat down for an interview with SBC CIS to tell about her company’s international ecosystem in which independent companies with different profiles collaborate to create innovative and unique ideas.

GamCare released its guidelines on tightening gambling blocking in banking systems as part of its Gambling Related Financial Harm (GRFH) program. The program aims to bring together the expertise and knowledge of financial and gambling companies in order to collaborate, develop resources and deepen support in the area of ​​financial risks associated with gambling.

OnAir Entertainment obtained a licence in Georgia and opened a new studio in its capital Tbilisi, further expanding throughout Europe. The studio in Tbilisi is OnAir Entertainment’s third in Europe and is equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide a unique gaming experience to meet the growing demand for online gaming in the region. OnAir Entertainment, along with two other European studios in Riga, Latvia and Bucharest, Romania, also plans to open additional US studios.

SCGO received an official online gambling licence in the Netherlands. The company now has the ability to offer its gaming platform to players in the Netherlands for the next five years, until June 22, 2028. With the new licence, SCGO becomes the 24th legal online gambling operator in the Netherlands. The main business of the company is associated with the VBET brand, which currently operates under the MGA licence.

Premier League clubs have collectively agreed to remove gambling advertising from the front of their shirts. Beginning in 2021, Eastern European countries and the CIS increasingly implement various gambling advertising bans. SBC CIS offered a breakdown of possible reasons as to why this is occurring, how destructive gambling advertising can truly be, and what operators should take to avoid harsh regulations.

Spribe, the company behind the super-successful Aviator game series, appointed Giorgi Tsutskiridze as Chief Commercial Officer. He will be tasked with managing interagency collaboration in areas such as budgeting, sales processes and marketing strategies, including branding and advertising. This will include working with the business development and customer service teams to create accountability through the implementation of relevant metrics, as well as coordinating rewards and promotions within them.

In the latest episode of iGaming Daily podcast SBC’s Head of Events (Europe) Stuart Duff along with SBC Managing Director Andrew McCarron talked about the application process for this year’s SBC Awards that will take place during the SBC Summit Barcelona returning on September 19—21 to the Fira Barcelona Montjuïc.

BetGames and REEVO presented a partnership agreement whereby content from BetGames will become part of the REEVO aggregation. As a result, REEVO will provide access to live casino and sports games from BetGames, which will be made available to the platform’s partner operators for distribution.

Lithuanian gambling regulator fined Baltic Bet for violating Article 10(19) of the Gambling Law, which prohibits the promotion of gambling. The regulator also found a problem with Baltic Bet’s usage of keywords in the Google search engine that promoted the Optibet brand.

Hacksaw Gaming partnered with MaxBet Romania to expand its presence in the competitive Romanian market. Light & Wonder deepened its relationships with the Betsson Group in order to expand its presence in new markets around the world. Under this deal, which is considered “opening new exciting opportunities”, Light & Wonder will continue to provide its own content, as well as various third-party materials through the OPENGAMING system (OGS). It also gave the European operator a “significant increase” in the content available in all current and future markets in which the company already operates or plans to enter.

Spinomenal and NetBet entered into a partnership agreement that will expand the range of the operator’s online casinos. As part of this collaboration, the Spinomenal games catalogue will be integrated into NetBet’s Light & Wonder OpenGaming platform. As a result, players will have access to exciting titles such as Athena’s Glory, Fairytale Beauties, Majestic King, Demi Gods 2 and Book Of Demi Gods 2.

Evoplay, a company offering premium online slots, announced the Endless Summer Network Tournament, which will consist of three possible tournaments and will take place over the next few months.
