Bulgaria held an annual three-day educational camp called “10:0 for People Against Addiction”, which was created to support those who are suffering from addictive behaviors, including overindulgence in gambling.
This initiative, organized by public support groups “Rematch” and “Help Against Addiction”, is being held for the 10th time in a row at the Boyana football complex in Sofia with the support of the Bulgarian Football Union.
This year, more than 60 participants struggling with addiction, from the cities of Varna, Gabrovo and Sofia in Bulgaria, as well as community members currently living in Thessaloniki, Greece, took part in a sports therapy program that included physical exercises, social skills, participating in a football tournament and discussing the topic “People before everything else”.
The opening ceremony took place this Wednesday with the participation of special guests from the Bulgarian Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Health, the Bulgarian Football Union, as well as employees of the football club FC CSKA 1948 Sofia.
