SKS365, Italy’s leading iGaming operator, has confirmed a definitive agreement to join the Lottomatica Group for €639 million (or £556 million). The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2024.
This strategic acquisition aims to strengthen the company’s growth and establish a strong position in the Italian gambling market.
SKS365 prides itself on having a strong online presence with approximately 600,000 registered users, and is home to respected brands such as Planetwin365 and PlanetPay365. In addition, the operator operates nearly 1,000 land-based betting shops, holding 9.6 percent market share in the sports segment and 6.4 percent in the gaming segment.
SKS365’s plans include achieving EBITDA of €74 million (£64.31 million) in the 2023 financial year, with the majority of revenue generated through digital operations and sports franchising.
