At the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan information was presented regarding the security of the mechanism for transmitting data from betting companies to the tax authorities. Director of the Methodology Department at the Committee emphasized that the confidentiality of data concerning participants in bets and bets will be strictly observed in accordance with tax secrecy.
The Chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania, Bledi Cuci, unexpectedly withdrew the said bill without explanation. Earlier, Albania’s parliament planned to vote to lift a five-year ban on online sports betting, acknowledging insufficient controls over illegal activities.
Deputies have submitted an amendment to the Lithuanian Gambling Act, which will further tighten advertising rules from 2025. In July, regulatory reforms were introduced to restrict “untargeted advertising” across TV, radio and print, and in some public spaces like cinemas and cafes. The provisions excluded general online marketing, direct mailing, and social media advertising.
The Senate of Colombia has confirmed that tax measures on online gambling will be reviewed to support the government’s plans to overhaul the nation’s public welfare and healthcare systems.
