Law enforcement authorities in Georgia have halted the operation of an underground casino located in a residential building in Adjara. Two owners of the house have been charged with engaging in illegal business activities. While an unnamed football club has been forced to cancel its plans for public advertising after it was deemed illegal by the Dutch Gaming Authority Kansspelautoriteit (KSA).

Hacksaw Gaming has increased its presence in online casinos in Serbia after entering into a strategic partnership with Maxbet. Ukrainian online casino FAVBET is now also offering a collection of games by Hacksaw Gaming. 

Pragmatic Play has introduced Blackjack X, an exciting version of live blackjack without a physical table or dealer. Pragmatic Play has also announced a strategic partnership with Uplatform.  

The Croatian Tax Administration has emphasized that in 2021 the state budget received 190.5 million euros in taxes and fees from gambling, in 2022 – 251.1 million euros, so last year was a record with 310.7 million euros. While Montenegro’s gambling faced challenges with new restrictions. The changes, particularly the ban on various electronic betting payment methods, mean the sector is at a turning point.

Betano has deepened its cooperation with the Romanian Football Federation (FRF), extending the strategic agreement until 2030 after a successful two years of working together. While Bulgaria cooperates with FIFPRO and Europol as part of the fight against match fixing. 

DATA.BET has announced the appointment of Otto Bonning as the group’s new Head of Sales. Additionally, Delasport welcomes Antonino Barra in the role of head of the commercial department, aimed at moving the company forward after its recent growth. 

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has announced the newly appointed members of the ‘Industry Forum’ to provide greater insights and feedback from licensed operators. Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen has extended its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UK Gambling Commission, continuing the exchange of information between the two institutions.

Sportradar announced that its processes, including customer service, integrity, content production and operations, and trade services, have successfully achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification from TÜV Thüringen. While Inplay Matrix has secured a certification by BMM Testlabs for its IM Sports sportsbook platform.

Sportingtech has announced its participation in a charitable partnership with the Malta Trust Foundation (TMTF). The three-year agreement will provide the supplier with the opportunity to support the ongoing initiatives of the TMTF.

Betsson has transferred its online gaming services for European customers to a new holding company called Rizk Nordic Limited. This brand has been licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and is subject to its regulation from November 2022. The Rizk domain has now replaced the previous licensee BML Group

The BBC and TNT Sports have announced an extended agreement to broadcast the FC Cup for the next four years.

Relax Gaming has expanded its operations in the Netherlands through a partnership with leading Dutch operator Fair Play Casino. While Delasport signed a new agreement with renowned iGaming operator Premier Gaming. The first Premier Gaming brand to take advantage of the addition of the brand’s Plug & Play Sportsbook iFrame to its website will be Pronto Casino, operating in the Swedish market.

Content aggregation platform REEVO is expanding with a new partnership with 7777 Gaming. While Slotegrator recently partnered with Turbo Sportsbook, a sports betting solution set in the Turbo Stars universe.

Genius Sports Inc is currently in active discussions to extend its official betting data partnership with Football DataCo, owner of English and Scottish football data. While Inspired Entertainment has partnered with Rush Street Interactive (RSI) to bring virtual sports content to the New Jersey gaming scene through the BetRivers platform.
