Stake.com strengthens its brand by partnering with UFC Light-Heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.
The Brazilian athlete, who became a global icon after moving to the UFC, previously successfully competed at the World Kickboxing Championships in various weight categories and was included in the Glory Hall of Fame.
Thanks to his impressive rise in the UFC, Pereira became the first fighter in the promotion’s history to capture the Middleweight and Light-Heavyweight titles in just seven bouts.
Proudly highlighting his success, “Poatan” prepares for the main event of historic UFC 300 in April, where he will defend his 205-pound title against Jamahal Hill in Las Vegas.
Pereira commented: “I’m delighted to be working with Stake.com and joining their exciting team. I’ve watched on with interest as they have become more involved with the UFC, especially Israel Adesanya. As I have mentioned, I would be open to training with Adesanya and I look forward to hopefully crossing paths at some point again in the future.”
Pereira joins the ranks of fellow UFC stars Alex Grasso, Amanda Ribas, Jalton Almeida, Alexander Pantoge and Israel Adesanya on the Stake.com team.
