The document presents a detailed analysis of gambling trends, addiction levels, and the social and financial consequences of gambling-related harm in Turkey.

The Romanian chapter of the international NGO Save the Children has called for urgent reforms to protect minors against gambling addiction and harm. Children’s digital safety is gradually becoming one of the main concerns across many European countries. Romania has become the latest nation to consider introducing strict control measures.

Three of Montenegro’s largest newspapers – Vijesti, Dan, and Pobjedahave issued a joint appeal to the State Parliament and the Ministries of Finance, Culture, and Media, calling for a revision of the newly imposed restrictions on gambling advertising.

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) has expressed delight from the recent EU vote in favour of a national standardisation for markers of harm.

The Portuguese Parliament will once again open debates on tightening controls over gambling advertising and promotions. While the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling in Spain (DGOJ) has unveiled new plans to implement player protection measures and centralized monitoring that will apply to online gambling licenses in the country.

New laws passed by Japan’s parliament in June to combat online gambling addiction officially came into effect on 25 September. While Vietnam continues to transform its domestic betting regulations, changing how players are allowed to participate in sports wagering.

Anna Johnson, CEO of Svenska Spel, has presented 18 proposals aimed at creating “a better functioning Swedish gambling market, ensuring the protection of all consumers.”

Digitain has received an E Category license in Belgium, granting the company access to operate in the local market. Moreover, Digitain has strengthened its position in Romania by announcing a new partnership with Evoke brand 888 Romania.

Oddsgate will integrate BetConstruct’s API solutions, while both companies will combine technology, compliance expertise, and personalized services to support operators in the Brazilian market.

BETER has announced a partnership with Entain CEE. Additionally, BETER is continuing to build up its relationships with fellow B2B firms, striking a deal with FIRST, a sportsbook solutions supplier.

NextBet becomes the latest company to arrive on the Australian market. While 1xBet has expanded its gaming offering through a new partnership with Galaxsys.

The Netherlands Gambling Authority (Kansspelautoriteit, KSA) has issued a warning to bloggers and media personalities following its previous discovery of three influencers promoting unlicensed gambling operators to young audiences.
