At SBC Summit Malta, panel discussions and hands-on workshops will focus on how to stay competitive in search engine optimization (SEO) amid the rise of artificial intelligence and changing user search behavior, as well as how SEO is expected to evolve by 2026.
This year’s event will take place from April 28 to 30 at the InterContinental Hotel, bringing together around 6,000 industry professionals. The program spans two days: the first day features panel discussions, while the second day offers practical workshops, allowing attendees to explore key topics in greater depth.
“Too many in the industry still treat SEO as a marketing add-on, when it can directly impact revenue if it’s neglected or done poorly,” said Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC. “That’s why we’re bringing in the experts to expose the real risks and show iGaming businesses how to rank sustainably.”
On the first day of the conference, Ivana Flynn, Head of SEO and Strategy at online.casino, will lead a series of three sessions focused on the key factors shaping search in 2026. From defending against negative SEO to analyzing the use of black hat tactics, attendees will receive practical guidance for effective website promotion and improving search engine rankings.
Three Thematic SEO Sessions:
- Negative SEO on the Rise: Featuring Maria Sayapina (Director of SEO, Find.co) and Sean Bianco (Co-Founder, Gain Changer)
- Black Hat SEO: What’s Working, What’s Risky and What Still Pays: Featuring Conrad Bugeja (Head of SEO at LiveScore Group) and Mile Davchevski (Head of SEO, Rhino Entertainment)
- Ask Me Anything: Featuring Daniel Lux (SEO Strategist) and Alan Cladx (Co-Founder & CEO, AquaPony)
On the second day, the focus shifts from theory to practice with interactive SEO workshops designed to help attendees apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
In markets where website visibility directly impacts revenue, black hat SEO remains a factor that cannot be ignored despite potential long-term risks. In the session “Inside Black-Hat SEO: How It Works (and How Safe It Really Is)”, SEO strategist Daniel Lux will explain key black hat techniques and demonstrate their use in real search environments. Attendees will gain practical frameworks to identify risky practices and make informed decisions without compromising long-term visibility or trust.
The use of automated models in SEO has rapidly moved from a fringe tactic to a defining factor in modern search behavior. In the session “AI Manipulation: How Machines Are Rewriting the SERPs”, Alan Cladx, Co-Founder and CEO of AquaPony, will examine how AI impacts website authority and rankings and why these methods are so effective. Through real-world examples, attendees will better understand how AI is reshaping traditional search and whether to adopt these tools or compete against them.
Continuing the discussion on AI’s impact, the workshop “Scaling High-Volume Content Operations with AI Automation” will show how marketing teams and affiliates are using AI to streamline content production. Led by Victoria Olsina, Fractional Head of Web3 SEO & AI Marketing at Mezo, participants will see real-world workflows that highlight where automation delivers the greatest benefits and learn how to scale SEO content efficiently without compromising quality or compliance.
The SEO program at SBC Summit Malta 2026 is designed for teams that rely on search to drive business growth, combining strategic insights with hands-on learning. Attendees will leave with practical frameworks they can apply immediately — from protecting rankings to smarter scaling in an AI-driven search landscape.
