VBET Supports Chelsea FC in the Game4Ukraine Charity Project

VBET has been named the main charity partner for Game4Ukraine, an All-Star football match, initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy with an aim to raise funds to rebuild educational facilities that were destroyed by the russian military during their invasion of Ukraine. The game will take place on Saturday, August 5, at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge home arena.

The partnership will see the VBET logo placed on the football kit during the game in addition to the operator running promotional campaigns in European markets, including the UK.

Artem Ivanytskyi, Marketing Director at VBET Ukraine: “We understand the value of responsibility towards the country, society, and players, that’s why VBET could not stay aside of this event.

“We proudly support Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko in their endeavours. The global VBET brand will actively participate in audience activations aimed at increasing the amount of donations.”

At the Game4Ukraine, Team Blue, coached by former Chelsea manager Emma Hayes, will take on Team Yellow, coached by former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The ambassadors of the UNITED24 fundraising platform, Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko, will act as captains of their respective teams.

Both squads will feature stars who are Premier League, World Cup and European winners — Gerard Piqué, Clarence Seedorf, Patrick Vieira, Fabio Cannavaro, Samuel Eto’o, Gianfranco Zola, Michael Essien and other famous football players.

A huge half-time show in the style of the Super Bowl with performances from Alesha Dixon, Melanie C, Pete Doherty, The Pretenders, Tom Grennan, and Tom Walker is planned to keep the audience entertained. In addition, Ukrainian artists such as Ocean Elzy and Boombox will perform at the event as well.

“It’s incredible to see so many big names from the world of football and music coming together to help us raise vital funds to begin rebuilding our beautiful country. I hope that we will be able to fill the stadium on August 5 and really be proud,” said Zinchenko.

Shevchenko added: “Football and music have always had an incredible ability to unite people, and we really hope that this day will be memorable for everyone united in their view of a better future.”
