UFC and WWE have Officially Completed Their Merger Under the Wing of Endeavor Group Holdings

Mixed martial arts promotion UFC, owned by Endeavor Group Holdings, and sports entertainment company WWE have officially joined forces, completing a mega-merger announced in early April.

The new company unites two of the world’s leading sports and entertainment brands — UFC and WWE, and is officially called TKO Group Holdings.

Combined revenue from UFC and WWE reached $2.4 billion in 2022, with an annual revenue growth rate of 10 percent since 2019. Since going public in 2021, the company has been actively growing its sports events business, with a primary focus on the UFC (Endeavor acquired the UFC in 2016 for $4 billion).

Endeavor says the merger that created TKO will generate annual operating synergies of $50 million to $100 million. However, some analysts believe this may be too conservative an estimate.
