Entain has announced the launch of its first data academy which will look to upskill its employees. The initiative aims to establish three criterias: Giving its people the opportunity to upskill, learn how best to use data to drive business success, and supporting the development of roles across the company.

A review by GambleAware has shed more light on the success of the residential rehabilitation programme for gambling harm victims. It shows that patients have exhibited reduction in gambling behavior and improvements to their mental health after their treatment, which has led to reduced feelings of isolation, improved social relationships and the adoption of positive habits such as healthy eating and regular exercise. 

Stake, an online and cryptocurrency betting platform, has signed a partnership agreement with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), becoming the official betting partner for the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup. Later this week the Swiss Federal Gambling Board Eidgenössische Spielbankenkommission (ESBK) was looking into the latest deal between Stake and the Sauber Formula 1 team for potentially breaching the country’s advertising regulations. 

Bet365 and Light & Wonder were expanding their partnership by welcoming Greek players to the platform with exciting new games such as Jin Ji Bao XI Endless Treasures, Lock it Link Diamonds, 88 Fortunes, Marvelous Mouse Coin Combo, Very Fruity and many more. Additionally, Light & Wonder has entered into a strategic exclusive agreement with leading UK design and content development studio, Crucible Gaming, to significantly expand its content portfolio.

London-based provider Highlight Games has announced its new partnership with Azerlotereya, Azerbaijan’s national lottery company. As part of this agreement, Highlight Games will provide its video content for virtual sports games and instant win products to Azerlotereya, with the aim of distributing them to retail outlets and online platforms throughout the country. Highlight Games also joined forces with Boomerang Digital to present the innovative game ‘Lotto Goals’. The partnership aims to create a unique gaming experience by interacting with Highlight Games’ video archives and Boomerang’s technology stack.

BetConstruct, the premier provider of innovative technology solutions for iGaming, continues to expand its global footprint. The new partnership with Koralplay is a strategic step in strengthening the company’s position in France and developing its product portfolio in African markets.

Hacksaw Gaming has strengthened its position in the key Romanian market by signing a deal with Skywind Group and successfully launching its iGaming games in Romania. While MGA Games has successfully integrated part of its manufacturing portfolio into Lottomatica, one of the leading operators in Italy.

Spinomenal, a leading iGaming content provider, has successfully entered the North Macedonian market through a strategic collaboration with Megawin.mk. While Playtech Plc has announced the early extension of its exclusive online gambling solutions supplier agreement with BoyleSports.

Better Collective has successfully completed the acquisition of Playmaker Capital, a Toronto-based sports media group that owns several sports media brands in America. In connection with this decision, the board of directors increased the company’s share capital to EUR 17,554.29 by issuing 1,755,429 new ordinary shares of EUR 0.01 each, pledged against the ordinary shares of Playmaker Capital.

B2B gaming company Inspired Entertainment has entered into an agreement with Kambi Group plc to integrate its Inspired Virtual Sports suite of products into the Kambi betting platform. While International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has announced a new partnership with B2B esports betting provider Oddin.gg.

Sergii Mishchenko, CEO of GBET UK, in his interview analyzed the similarities and differences between eSports and traditional sports, predicted key events of the current year, and also identified interesting aspects and much more.

The upcoming launch of a regulated online gambling market in Brazil is expected to generate approximately $5 billion in annual revenue, according to estimates from business intelligence provider Vixio Regulatory Intelligence. The country also has advanced the launch of a regulated market, as the Ministry of Finance fulfills the key requisite of forming a ‘Special Secretariat’ to monitor and report on market activities.

Timor-Leste, one of the most stable democracies in Southeast Asia, is developing a new gaming market in online betting and gaming, complementing the activities of Malta and the Isle of Man.
